June 26, 2017: The feast of Sacred Heart Ward was celebrated on Sunday, 25th June at the residency of Mr. Henry Lobo. The occasion was graced by the presence of Parish Clergy, Superior of the Convent, Vice President and members of PPC and leaders of different wards.
The programme began with the welcome dance performed by the children of the ward. Mr. Jackson Saldanha extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries. On this occasion, a meaningful prayer service was conducted by the members. Mrs. Sherlyn Monteiro briefed the activities of the ward in the annual report. Parish Priest felicitated youngsters of the ward who had successfully completed their board exams. A good number of entertainment programmes and games were conducted to make all happy. Parish Priest in his address congratulated the ward members for the well organized programme. He also sought the support and cooperation of the members to the ward leader for the betterment of the ward. Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, Regent Br Joyan D’Costa, Sr Florine delivered their message.
Miss Jennifer and Princita Lobo compered the programme while Miss Jenifer Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the delicious meal.
