Seminar held on Awareness of Herbal plants and Herbal Medicines

Aug. 30: The Catholic Sabha of our parish has organized a seminar on “The Awareness of Herbal plants and Herbal Medicines”. The resource person was Sr. Agnatia Frank B.S, Shubhada Convent, Suralppady. The programme was well organized by the Catholic Sabha president and the mebers. Fr. Andrew D’Souza introduced the resource person to the gathering. Sr, Agnatia presented well prepared talk on the topic with help of power point. She also brought some of the herbal plants from the forest as well as from the villages which helped the participants to understand the topic effectively. She also distributed some of the Herbal Medicines to the people. Many people gathered for the seminar and gained a good knowledge about Herbal medicine.
