July 31:The Maria Kripalaya Convent of our parish has its new Superior Rev.Sr.Sheeba Kalloor. We welcome her to our parish and wish her God's abundant blessing on her new ministry. Here is a small introduction to Rev.Sr.Sheeba Kalloor in her own words.“I am the wine you are the branches" (Jn15:5).
Drawing strength and support from the Lord, I journey through unknown places that are known to God. This is the only way to reach the goal that is to establish His kingdom wherever i am. This is my first appointment as a superior in Mariakripalaya, Pakshikere.
I thank God for coming once again with different role to the noviciate community and to St. Jude's Parish community. I appreciate the changes that are taken place in the parish through the efforts of various priests and the parishioners. It is just because the vital link that existing between the shepherd and the sheep. May it be always and ever more. I assure together with all the members of my community all support and co-operation for all Parish activities.
I belong to St. Thomas More Church, Palluruthy, Kerala. I was born on 13-6-1969 in Palluruthy as the second daughter of my family. I completed my primary education in St. Mary's Church, Palluruthy, my high school in S.D.P.Y.G.H.S in Palluruthy, PUC in Aquinas College, Edacochin.
In 1986 I joined the convent in Palluruthy. I did my first profession in 8th May 1989. I did my under graduation in St. Therea's college, Ernakulam(1989-1992). I did Spirituality course in Rome (1992-1993).
I did my M.Th in Catechetics in Rome (1993-1999). Postulant mistress in Kerala, Vaduthala (2000). Novice mistress in Mangalore, Pakshikere(2000-2005). I did B.Ed in Avila College, Edacochin (2005-2006).
Teacher in St. Dominic E.M.H.S, Palluruthy (2006-2011). While teaching I did my Post graduation and basic counselling course. During this period I got the opportunity to work with diocesan team as an animator in liturgy, catechism and K.C.Y.M. Now I am in Mariakripalaya to be with you all (2011- ).
