Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy donated the books

July 19: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, Mangalore has donated 133 Konkani books to the parish school library. The school teacher Mrs Mabel Sequiera welcomed the guests to the gathering. Konkani speaking children led the prayer in Konkani. Rev. Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto, the assistant Parish Priest and Mr. victor Mathias, Valerian D’souza, the representatives of the academy were present.

Mr. Victor mathiais handed over the books to Fr. Sunill pinto, and he said that make use of this golden opportunity to study Konkani in the school. Fr. Sunil pinto thanked them for giving these books freely for our Konkani students in our school. He assured them that Konkani will be taught to all the Konkani speaking students of the school
