March 25, 2013 : The Palm Sunday was celebrated in our parish on Mar'24 to commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The blessing of the palm was held near Vijaya Bank, where Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto read the Gospel and Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza gave the day’s message. The palms were distributed to the parishioners by the Parish Council members. The parishioners went in a procession to the parish. The main celebrant of the day was Rev Fr Naveen Pinto, Asst Director of Pastoral Institute Mangalore.
The devotion of the Way of the Cross is being continued for a decade on the previous Friday of the good Friday , but this year onwards it will be continued on the Palm Sunday in our Parish. Rev. Fr. Naveen Pinto conducted the way of the cross and preached the Word of God on theme of Holy Cross. We are grateful to all the parishioners who worked for the success of the day.
