Monti Fest celebrated

Monthi Fest, the birthday of Mother Mary was Celebrated with solemnity and grandeur on 8th Sept 2013. In the morning at 7.45am, new Corns were blessed at Pakshikere town and people came in procession with Mother Mary statue decorated in a Van.

All people came and gathered near the Grotto in front of the church and flowers were offered prayers to Infant Mary. Then the mass followed. After the Mass all the people were given new Corn by the Parish Priest and Asst. Parish Priest. As the people went out of the church they received sweet Payasam, laddu and a sugarcane each. It indeed a nice scene in the church campus, people holding a Sugar cane and going home.
