Nov 23:The Mangalore Diocese 125th year jubilee celebration cross reached our parish today. It was brought to our parish from Mulki Parish. Rev.Fr.Norbert Lobo, the parish priest of Mulki along with his parishioners brought the cross in procession in a beautifully decorated vehicle.
The cross was received by Rev.Fr.Andrew D’Souza and Rev.Fr.Sunil Pinto at the market place. Our parishioners had also gathered in large numbers to welcome the cross. Then the cross was brought to the parish in procession and was handed over to Rev.Fr.Andrew D’Souza, by the Mulki Parish Priest, Rev.Fr.Norbert Lobo. Mr.Dolphi Miranda the vice president of the parish received the flag.

The cross was installed in the parish, which will remain here till this Friday. The Mulki parishioners left us after offering their final respect to the cross, while our parishioners continued the worship. Rev.Fr.Andrew D’Souza and Rev.Fr.Sunil Pinto conducted the adoration of the cross and finally parishioners paid respect to the cross. The Cross will be in our parish till this Friday and during these two days there will be special prayers and adoration. On Friday the cross will be handed over to the Kateel parish.
