On 19th of Oct 2014, the inauguration of the novena took place by hoisting the flag. Later the inauguration of the mini hall / extension of the church were done.
Msgr. Denis Moras Prabhu was the chief guest. The traditional king of Mulki area, Sri Dugganna Sawanth, was the special attraction.
The Swach Bharat Abhiyan was inaugurated by Sri Dugganna Sawanth. Over 50 non-catholic associations took part in this and the surroundings of Pakshikere were cleaned. This was a milestone in history of Pakshikere.
The next event was the blood donation, health check up and dental check up for all. Many people were largely benefited by this.
Later in the afternoon, meals were served to all.
All the events were very successful.
