At Pakshikere Church "Vanamahothsava" was celebrated on 17th July 2016. After the mass, Mr. Paul Miranda Director for agriculture explained to the people regarding the importance of planting trees and preserving the nature. Then the "Yatrik" annual magazine of the parish was distributed to all the families. After that each family was given a plant to be planted in their land. In the church campus many plants were planted and thus Vanamahothsava was celebrated meaningfully in the parish. All people participated actively in the programme. The parish priest and the assistant parish priest along with the ward Gurkars planted the plants in the campus.
