Feb 13, 2017: Senior Citizens Day was celebrated in our parish on Sunday 12th February 2017. The program began at 9:30 a.m with the confessions and Holy Eucharist for all the senior citizens. After the mass all were gathered in hall for cultural program. The stage program started with the prayer. Catholic Sabha President Mrs. Shaila D’souza welcomed all. Our main guest Fr. Jawahar Jerry Cutinho, Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Patrick Sequeira, Superior of the convent Sr. Margaret, and Vice President Jackson Saldanha gave their short messages on senior citizen day.
After the stage program our youth entertained all with their dance and lucky games. Fr. Patrick and Fr. Jawahar Jerry presented the Token of love for all the senior citizens. Fr. Patrick prayed the blessings over meals. Then drinks and refreshments were served for all. The program ended with the sumptuous meals that were prepared by our parishioners. All spoke well of the program.
