March 14:The Catechism day was organised on 11th of this month in the parish. The final catechism exams were conducted on 26th February for all the standards. The celebration began with the children’s thanksgiving mass at 9:00am. Rev. Andrew D’Souza and Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto were the celebrants. The children organised a creative liturgy to mark the end of another successful year of catechism classes.
Soon after the mass the children assembled at the parish hall for the stage programme. As the guests for the programme Rev. Andrew D’Souza, Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto, Mr. Dolphi Mirnada and Mrs. Lucy D’Souza were present. The children presented various cultural events on biblical themes. The guests honoured children for their excellence in catechism. Rev. Andrew D’Souza and Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto honoured the catechism teachers for their service. With the lunch the programme was concluded.
