Jan 31:The Kinnigoli Varado ICYM unit had
organised Konkani Cultural Evening in Kirem Church Hall on 29 January
2012. Earlier while inaugurating the annual day Rev. Fr. Anil D Souza,
Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese, called upon the youth to take
leadership in all the fields with Christian values. The immense talents
possessed by them needs to be displayed at Diocese level programs and
even at National Convention. Mr. Mishal Fernandes, President ICYM
Mangalore Diocese, Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto parish priest Kirem and the parish priest of Kinnigoli was present during the
occasion. Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto was the main coordinator of the event.
There were four ICYM units who took part in the event. The ICYM unit of
our parish presented a song, dance and a skit. We appreciate the effort
taken by the ICYM members and wish them success in their future events.
