The retreat focused on contemporary issues, various ways of solution based approach in life, importance of prayer, teenage blues in our children, parents role in leading healthy families and creating God fearing atmosphere and above all divine presence of the Holy Spirit to lead us through in every step of our life.To make the whole theme more impressive, he shared real life experiences and used anecdotal reviews to connect the people with a view to carry the message home more strongly to have effective results. This led to the success of retreat with increased inflow of people day by day everyday as the good word of mouth passed on by people drew effective response.
The night vigil on Thursday, January 22 being culminating part of the 5-days retreat, there was a massive gathering of the people to invoke God's blessings and pave way for the Holy Spirit to dwell in their hearts.Fr D'Souza is on a visit for the annual Konkani Retreats in all the parishes here and the next Retreat is scheduled for Sunday, January 29 to February, 2012 in Sts Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi.
