As a preparation for the feast of Pentecost, on 23rd of May from night 9 P.M till 24th morning 6 P.M prayer was held. This night vigil was conducted by ‘MOGA ULO’ retreat team, Mangalore. Fr. Andrew Leo Dsouza, the Parish Priest of Pakshikere, Fr. Patrick Sequeira, the Asst. Parish Priest of Pakshikere, Fr. Abraham Dsouza, SVD and Fr. Melwin Noronha, Parish Priest of Borimar were the team members who conducted the praise & worship and preached the Word Of God. Mr. John, Ferrar, accompanied the team with his beautiful music skills.
During this night vigil, 7 adults were baptized. They were;

• Laveena
• Malaika
• Santhosh
• Chandana
• Shruthi
• Angel Maria
The whole community welcomed these new members to the Catholic Church and all rejoiced at this great event by singing ‘Oh Give Thanks To the Lord’ hymn. At 12.30 a.m, bread and tea were served to all. The night vigil ended at 6 A.M with the sunday mass.
