March 07:Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto celebrated his first birthday in our parish with much joy and celebration. It was his first birthday as a priest so Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza had made it a point to arrange it well. The celebration began with the morning mass at 6:00am. The parishioners, Sisters of the convent and Ashray boys were present for the thanks giving mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto. The birthday cake was cut at the end of the mass and everyone wished the birthday baby. The Ashray boys had made this celebration grand by decorating Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinot’s room. Later the children and staff of our parish school arrived at the parish to felicitate Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto. Everyone had bought a flower to wish him well. In the afternoon special dinner was arranged for the school staff, Sister of the Convent and hostel student. Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza felicitated Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto on this special occasion.
In the evening the ICYM unit had arranged the birthday celebration. The ICYM members had prepared a wonderful cake. The celebration was grand. Though the day was full of celebration Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto never seemed tired, he was there with smiling face to thank everyone of- course offering birthday cake to all.
