Feb 26:The ICYM unit of our parish had organised cricket, volleyball and throw ball events on 26th. They have arranged various sports and fun games events for the coming weeks as a preparation for the Parish Day. The events were inaugurated by Fr.Ivan, the superior of SVD house, Kirem. Rev.Fr. Andrew D’Souza wished everyone a good time and encouraged the parishioners to participate in every event. First event of the day started at 11:00am with volley ball. In the afternoon cricket for men and throw ball for women was held respectively. The referees for the day were Mr. Uday, Mr.Vishith and Mr. Bharath. All the three events went on smoothly and were well coordinated. The events were held between wards including a team from the parish hostel.

The ICYM members coordinated the all the events very well under the guidance of their President and Sports Secretary. The parishioners cheered their ward to perform better. The day was concluded with cricket match. Next week there would be activities for all the parishioners according to age groups. We thank the parish ICYM unit for their initiative and wish them well.
